The Next October initiative harnesses Israeli innovation to honor the memory of those lost in the October 2023 Hamas War. More than 1,400 innovative startup companies will commemorate the victims of the war, soldiers and civilians, while building innovative products and services which will be implemented globally and will make for a better world.
A startup company is designated for each fallen soldier and for each civilian victim of the war. Next October will track the progress of the commemoration activities over the years, suggesting various initiatives for remembrance. Moreover, Next October adds ongoing value to its startups through mentorship programs, connections with investors and networking opportunities.
Startups participating in the Next October initiative commit to "doing good" as a core value. They pledge to honor the victims of the war in various ways, depending on their capacity and while keeping in mind the legacies of the victims they will be commemorating.

Noam would always say:
“WHO NEEDS WORDS WHEN THERE IS RHYTHM AND JOY”
His family built a website in his memory www.noam-louderz.com with music pieces he composed, stories from friends and family, and many photos.
Feel free to visit this website to learn more about Noam and his music.
NOAM LIEL EFRAIM
Noam, son of Revital and Sharon, brother to Lital, was born on the Hebrew date 18th Elul 5759/ August 30th, 1999. Until the age of 8, he grew up in Rosh Ha'ayin, and in fourth grade, the family moved to Had Nes in the Golan Heights. Noam was a lively, sociable teenager who loved people, traveling, and spending time outdoors. He was devoted to his parents and was a loving brother to Lital.
From a very young age, music was a big part of his life, and at the age of only 12, he joined a sound club and asked his parents for DJ equipment. At the age of 14, he already excelled as a DJ at parties and family events. At 16, he enrolled in the prestigious BPM College in Tel Aviv to specialize in sound and music production.
Upon completing his studies, he enlisted in the army, where he met his girlfriend Noa, and they had been together for the past 4.5 years.
Noam was a successful DJ known as LOUDERZ. At the age of 15.5, he played for the first time at a friend's wedding, and from there he continued to hundreds of weddings, parties, and events of all kinds. He always knew how to adjust to his audience: youth, adults, Israeli songs, and mainstream hits. Bringing joy to people was his destiny. He played in clubs and festivals in Israel and abroad and worked with major production companies. He was a talented music creator and producer, and some of his works were used on various websites.
In the last half year of his life, Noam fell in love with sports, especially fitness training. He went to the gym in Had Nes every day, and on the day after Simchat Torah, he was supposed to start working as part of the trainer team.
Noam was a cheerful, beloved person with a special sense of humor.
On the cursed Shabbat, on the 7th of Tishrei, Simchat Torah, October 7, 2023, Hamas launched a terrorist attack on Israel: missiles and rockets towards the south and center of the country and infiltration of thousands of terrorists, leading to killings in the communities surrounding Gaza.
That same weekend, Noam, his girlfriend Noa, and friends went to the "Nova" music festival near Kibbutz Re'im, and together with about three thousand others, they danced and enjoyed the night. When the terrorists' attack began, they tried to escape by car, but they couldn't leave the party area and eventually hid in a bar. When the terrorists arrived at the party, they started running, but Noa was shot and Noam stayed to protect her until he too was shot dead. More than 400 people were murdered at the music festival, and about 40 were kidnapped to the Gaza Strip.
Noam was murdered by the despicable terrorists at the party on the 7th of Tishrei, 5784 (October 7, 2023), at the age of 24. He was laid to rest at the cemetery of Bne-Yehuda in the Golan Heights. He left behind his parents and a sister.
His mother
"How can I mourn a 24-year-old child? Why do I have to mourn my child? Isn't it supposed to be the other way around? At this stage of life, I should be writing some beautiful words for your wedding day. how much you achieved in life, my child, you haven't finished everything! You haven't gotten married yet, you haven't made me a grandmother yet, you haven't finished all your songs. And what about the dream of playing at Tomorrowland? So, the screen goes dark, the speakers are silent, your studio remains lonely and quiet. Rest peacefully, my beautiful prince."
His father
"You will remain forever in our hearts, the crown on our heads, our firstborn... My Noam, my beloved, the mercy of my soul, the tattoo on my skin, our hearts bleed, our souls are torn with pain, our eyes see but our minds cannot comprehend."
His aunt
"Your gorgeous smile could melt ice, there was no one who didn't love you, loyal to your friends, loved by people and loving people. He lived life with calmness and a constant smile. He loved life."
His sister Lital
"The number of people who came to accompany you in your final moments only showed me how much of a loved person with a huge heart you were. You touched so many people, that as your little sister, I am filled with pride beyond words. You were my back, my guardian... You were my role model."
His friends
"There is no comfort and no words that can fill the void you left in our hearts, dear brother of ours. These are not words of farewell but of gratitude! Thank you for who you were for us and for every moment you were there for each one of us, there isn’t and never will be anyone like you!
His good friend
"There are no more colors, everything is gray in my eyes, the amazing music you loved so much and gave life to in your unique and passionate way, lost its rhythm in a moment and will never be the same again."
